Naturescape HD - What’s On!

June 2008

Currawinya National Park in south-west Queensland was destination and excuse for Naturescape’s most recent expedition. February flooding of the channel country turned the outback into an inland sea and provided the cue to migrating birds from all around Australia, Asia & Europe to converge on its ephemeral lakes.

The experience was breathtaking, the vision splendid. Thousands of winged EurAsian visitors in corroboree with forty thousand pelicans upon a red ochre backdrop. Camels at sunset, colorful outback characters, the rustic charm of town & pub too far; all add to an adventure too short.

Captured on HD, naturally, footage is due for released & online preview at Footage Search come September.
